5. Kate Moss

When Kate Topshop collection was announced, fashion insiders pronounced her not a designer. But what her critiecs failed to see was that kate wasn't trying to be something she isn't. Instead of aiming for for cutting edige fashion line, she created a collection of her favourite essentials. Given her ability to look totally in the moment, her range flew off the shelves.

6. Katie Holmes
What amazine diffenece a hair can make. Until this summer we would never have believed that Katie could make into the top 10 best dressed, do we think this maybe due to the help a certain Beckham?

Celebrities and Sex Toys - a fashion phenomenon

VIBRATORS in the bath, dildos in the living room, Geisha balls at the newsstand - sex toys are coming out of the closet, and glam 30-something women are leading the trend.

Oscar-winner Halle Berry is a huge fan of sex toys. She admits to frequently visiting 'The Pleasure Chest' (a specialist store which sells vibrators and sexy underwear) to fulfill her needs. 'You can't forget your sexuality... you can still embrace your body by going to the gym or going to The Pleasure Chest,'

Eva Longoria Unlike her character Gaby, Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria doesn't need a teenage gardener to satisfy her! Eva once revealed that some of the best sex she had ever experienced was with a sex aide. 'I own two...I have the Rabbit one, and I give that as a gift all the time... It's the best gift to give - an orgasm.

Emma Bunton It seems Baby Spice Emma Bunton doesn't need a man to spice up her life! She recently admitted that she often pleasures herself with a vibrator given to her by fellow Spice Girl Mel B. That's girl power for you!

"It's become a fashion phenomenon, if you haven't got a toy you're uncool,'' said Samantha Thouret, whose Yoba boutique, opened in 2003 in one of Paris' smartest districts, was the first of a string of new stylish adults-only shops to hit the city.
It takes a brave celebrity to stand up and be counted, but these ladies are happy to shout it loud and proud - 'we love our sex toys!' but these guys have and im just name a few. From the I Rub My Duckie waterproof vibrator bath toy (the latest in the series is the Penguin which has 8 speeds) to the Rabbit that starred in TV series Sex And The City - toy sales are soaring, as are edible creams and edible underwear.

The Rabbits had all sold out last week at the boudoir-like 1969 shop near the Pompidou art centre, a store that opened two years ago and now has a bigger outlet in the southern port of Marseille. It had a glam Duckie clad in black feathers and sporting a trendy Swarovski crystal. At Yoba, the Secret Bullet - a remote-controlled egg vibrator that needs two to play - was the most popular toy of the month in July, along with a vibrator that plugs into an MP3 and plays with the music. Brillant. Dollhouse, opened to cater specifically to women, two 30-somethings purchased a pair of Geisha balls, which offer a "vaginal workout'' - after being instructed not to use them for more than 15 minutes at a time at first. So guys, there's no pornography any more, no vulgar lingerie, it's girlie, it's fashion. Women are becoming a driving market force.
Yeah! Im off to the shops now. Back soon. Thanks handbag.com

God David Beckham Statue Adorns Thai Temple

Oh my mother of god, have you seen this one? A Buddhist temple in Bangkok has a golden statue of David Beckham built into its altar, can you believe it? Becks is depicted in the style of a garuda holding up the altar itself on his shoulders, the garuda are guardian demons, and a string of them are carved into each side of the altar. The statue itself is definitely Beckham, sporting his floppy haircut from nearly a decade ago and even with the sponsorship logo Sharp picked out on his chest. Im thing wrong..again.

Victoria Beckham Snubbs Wanna Be BB Victoria Beckham

sourse: the sun Ha ha....A not very happy Chanelle stands alone outside the LA Galaxy’s VIP area after Victoria Beckham refused to meet her at Wednesday’s match.
Chanelle travelled around 6,000 miles to try and meet Victoria but why did she do that I do not understand do you?
It has been said that Victoria Beckham refused to meet Chanelle at Wednesday night’s match.
A source close to Victoria said that “There was no way Chanelle was getting past Victoria’s security. She is flattered that Chanelle is a fan but she is in no rush to meet her.”
The ex Big Brother housemate was greeted by a few photographers.
Chanelle was spotted arriving at the LA Galaxy ground in a Posh-style outfit of grey vest, blue jeans and sunglasses.
I think that maybe Chanelle is so into Victoria that maybe she is becoming a stalker and not realising it lets hope she does before it’s too late.

Chanelle is wrong wrong wrong.

Halle Berry and Nicole Richie Pregnant with problems

Its true, Halle Berry is pregnant with Health problems. Unlike the other Nicole, her health problems aren't self inflicted. Halle Berry is reportedly two months pregnant and very excited.

Get it right by celebrity stylist Harmon

I've just seen Celebrity stylist Mark-Alan Harmon appearing in front of a crowd of eager shoppers to show them how to accessorize and improve their outfits.

"Here's how you do purses," Harmon said. "You try a purse on. Try it. Work it." And he demonstrated.
Harmon also suggested bringing color into an outfit to really "pop" it.

"Red is a really great look to pop anything out," Harmon said.

While many women think having a lot of clothes is the best way to go, Harmon stresses variety.
If you have a lot of the same shirt, just in different colors, thats a bit wrong.

Harmon has five major fall fashion trends. He encourages people to mix it up and purchase clothes that pull double duty, wear big prints, wear white, shine on and go with the flow.
Buying clothes that pull double duty is an essential way to save some money on wardrobe.
"Use clothes that you wore in the summer for the fall," Harmon said. For example, take the blue floral print dress you wore in the summer and add a navy blazer to transition it for the fall.
"What's very expensive to do is buy something you can only wear alone," Harmon said. "The hint is to buy pieces that you can wear with a lot of other things."

For women larger than a size 12, clothes need to fit the body. He said women need to find fabrics that are comfortable, like cotton with some stretch. The last thing a woman needs is a fabric that won't move with them or won't give them a polished look."The trick to that is spandex built into the fabric you're wearing."

Harmon also advises NOT going out in clothes that are damaged in any way. Thats wrong. If something is missing a button, has a hole in it or the zipper is broken, get it fixed or get rid of it.

"These are certain things people can do to make themselves look put together and polished," Harmon said.
For the fall, fashionistas should look for some good staple pieces in charcoal, a geometric print and a gold or silver metallic pump. And it is no secret that in today's world, appearances are important. "People make an assessment and judgment about you the minute you walk in the door," Harmon said. "So when you walk in a room, people have an opinion about who you are and who you aren't. Knowing that, it's most important that your clothes speak powerfully about who you are." There, get it right not wrong.

Wanna Be Victoria Beckham

Wannabe Victoria Beckham - Chanelle Hayes has arrived in LA, albeit to a quieter reception than her idol . The ex-BIG BROTHER housemate flew to the States in a bid to pursue her celebrity career - possibly as a Posh lookalike in LA - and turned up at LAX Airport in identical clothes to those worn by Victoria last month. She is also on a bit too meet Victoria.

In one of the thousand articles she said: "I still think my Posh persona is brilliant, but now I've been given the chance to create as much of my persona as I can and that's what I want to do. I'm pretty OK being me." Yeah right, she's wrong wrong! Im betting she won't get a $5 million credit limit at top Beverly Hills fashion store Neiman Marcus like Victoria.

I wonder if Victoria will snuff her too!

Victoria or Britney, who did snub who?

Firstly, Victoria Beckham snubs Paris Hilton ; declaring “Over my dead body” to her request for friendship, and now she’s gone and snubbed Britney Spears or has she!
That is despite Posh helping her out by introducing herself as “Victoria from the Spice Girls”. Britney just looked confused and walked off. Ha ha, wish i was there. Victoria would have died.
Posh was with hubby David — the world’s most recognisable sportsman — but still the penny didn’t drop. durr...
Now I realise Britney’s not likely to be a soccer fan, and she’s probably been too busy running around LA behaving strangely to have caught up with the latest on the Beckhams in the news. She's too busy telling her kids they were both mistakes (just read that on hollywoodrag - nice site)
Anyways, Britney’s behaviour and state of mind wrong wrong wrong. But i do still laugh
when i read how she babbled incoherently, vomited on her dress and cleaned up her dog’s mess with another designer outfit, it was claimed. Brilliant.

Big brother - who are they and why?

Big Brother (at least the one in the UK, and I suppose the concept as a whole), should win an award... for being the epitome of everything that is currently wrong with the world. In that alone, no other "thing" can touch it, and I say "thing" as it goes way beyond media. It is truly, the definitive opus, and I can prove it.

For a start, its the ultimate swindle. In years gone by you had to have an idea to make good telly, then you had to write a script, produce it properly etc etc. These Endemol monkeys (the evil ones that produce this), have managed to make a programme out of putting cameras in a flat, and letting us watch a bunch of dragged up muppets for a few months. And we actually watch it. Shame on us. Next, its the people on the show. Now I know they are picked to amuse, and to represent the "everyman" in all that, but really, comparing this lot to people you'd have any interest in, is like comparing a juicy steak to what they use to make frozen sausages, and can "legally" get away with calling it meat. Then its my favourite, the voice of BB, the nameless Geordie who's abilities stretch to telling you the time and what he sees on the screen.I could live a thousand lives without having to hear "Eets Tooo Thhiirrii faiiff Eee Em, and Shhan-elle is Tawwkin Gob-shaii egeeen". Arrrgh.

Then there's Davina, I mean, I don't blame her for taking the job, and she seems nice enough, dresses well (I'm trying to be understanding here), but the poor girl has got some job trying to create excitement out of watching sub-humans on a screen. Having said all of that, THE worst part of BB, is... wait for it.... YOU WRONG PEOPLE THAT WATCH IT. There I've said it, and its the truth.

DO you realise that you are doing by watching this wrong programme. You are handing tens of thousands of pounds, sometimes hundreds, to the muppets that are on it.Thats right, YOU gave wotserface, the brainless idiot, a million quid. I mean why the fuck would you do such a thing, its worse that shagging your mates wife while pouring sugar into his petrol tank. Every time you make someone a toilet celebrity like BB does, you're devaluing everything that mankind has been trying to do for eons.Your children will grow up thinking that the thing they want to do with their lives, is take a magic pill, and hey presto they get everything they think they ever wanted, attention, the illusion of success, and some cash.

There wont be anyone left looking for a cure for cancer, or winning the Tour de France, they'll all be applying for BB or one of its illegitimate children.I'm deadly serious, forget poncy Global warming, poverty or the Middle East; they are truly a minor issue in comparison to what faces all of us if BB continues to flourish. In summary, Big Brother is wrong, and anyone who watches it is wrong, as is anyone who makes it. Most of all, everyone should treat you like muppets, as its only that sort of negative reinforcement that will quash the evil before us. There I said it.

Who Is the Best Dressed Male Celebrity?

Daniel Craig has been named the world's best dressed man, which is funny since we always thought that Daniel Craig was a funny looking scouser in violently nondescript clothing.

That's where we'd be wrong, though. You see, Daniel Craig is James Bond now, and James Bond only wears a succession of lovely hand-stitched bespoke suits all the time. So that's why
Esquire magazine has named Daniel Craig as the best dressed man in the world, because a character he plays in a film that isn't even out yet wears some nice clothes. So it looks like fictional characters care now fair game for the Best Dressed awards, in which case we'd like to nominate Mr Benn next year for the episode where he dressed up as a natty wrong pirate.

Some magazine doesn't care what we think; they will publish their annual Best Dressed Man awards, and Daniel Craig - the toothless new James Bond who people are paid to say they like - has been named as Esquire's Best Dressed Man. Except he hasn't - James Bond has probably been named as Esquire's Best Dressed Man but, since he doesn't actually exist, Daniel Craig got the nod instead. Either that or they're basing the results on the clothes Daniel Craig wore in Munich, which were admittedly pretty spiffy even though - again - they weren't actually his own clothes.

We do, so who is the best dressed MAN?

Leather is Back.

Supermodels aren't the only ones who can make leathery outfits appear modern, trendy and feminine, says Clare Coulson and we believe her.

Kate Moss, as we know, can get away with wearing virtually anything. But even her staunchest defenders were aghast when she stepped onto the red carpet at last year's Costume Institute gala in New York working skin-tight, black leather trousers. It was a fashion wrong dot com!

Belt up: mini-dress with corrugated hem, Christopher Kane
In recent years, it's only been seen on greasy bikers and streetwalkers. It was so wrong that no one could imagine a renaissance, even if Midas-touch Moss had given it her seal of approval.
But one year on, and leather is well and truly back.

Get it Right
A good rule of thumb is to ask yourself: "Would Nancy Dell'Olio wear this?" If the answer is "yes", put the garment back on the rail.
Avoid bright red leather at all costs: it's tacky and tarty. Choose more subdued deep-berry reds or oxblood.
Don't assume that you can haul a distressed vintage biker jacket that you last wore in the 1970s out of your wardrobe. The new crop is cut to fit to the body closely.
Black leather can look really harsh - a safer bet are soft caramels, tans and blondes. They work really well with pale cashmeres.
Leave leather trousers to Ms Moss and saggy-bottomed lotharios. A leather mini-skirt is a far chicer. Pair it with a cashmere polo neck, opaque tights and riding boots.

HIGH STREET HITS - we love these.

The pared-down minimalism of COS really lends itself to simple leather pieces. This autumn, the H&M-owned store has produced its signature mini-tunic dress, right centre, in a super-soft mushroom leather (£125). It works best with textural knits. http://www.cosstores.com/
Gap's soft grey bomber with shearling collar is one of the star pieces of the autumn collections (£198). It will go with virtually anything from a pencil skirt to high-waisted blue jeans. http://www.gap.com/

Topshop also has bomber jackets from £100 (above left and far right), but with more of an edge. They range from a Pan-collared jacket in a soft mossy green to a tougher biker jacket complete with zips and a sexy, fitted silhouette in grey, black or metallic pink. http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/TopCategoriesDisplay?storeId=12556&catalogId=19551

Fresh from its recent rejunevation, Jaeger has some very clean-cut pieces in luxurious soft leather. Best of all is the one-button cropped-sleeved tan jacket (£450). It's classic and works well with the season's fine-knit cashmeres and slouchy 40s-style trousers. http://www.jaeger.co.uk/
Happy hunting!

Nicole Richie "up the duff" Style

Pregnancy looks great on Nicole Richie! She was spotted the pregnant star after she had lunch at Cipriani’s in downtown Manhattan, her baby bump just visible through her chic maternity dress.
I’m not sold that it’s actually a maternity dress. Instead of girls double zero it’s probably a woman’s size 1.

But hey, When you’re a Hollywood socialite, pregnancy only really means one thing: an excuse to go shopping.

Is Britney Spears Gay?

Rumor has it she is. Im not sure yet, what do you think?

Low Waisted jeans are wrong - High Waisted Are back

Experiment with High Waisted. Not sure i think the ones showing are right but it has been a long time coming but high waisted is well and truly back!

Keeping in with the skinny trend brands such as Arrogant Cat have designed the skinny jeans and shorts seen on the Sugababes, these are fab but kinda expensive.

I prefer Kate Moss's take on the trend. Last year she stepped out in high waisted flare jeans.
High waisted flares are much more flattering. Because they have a bit of room they go great with wedges or heels.

Perfect for summer - if london has one.

Amy WINEhouse overdose and Adrenaline Shot. Wrong!

After her three-day drug and booze bender, Amy Winehouse, the turbulent wanna be diva of British pop, has been discharged from hospital after collapsing from a suspected drugs and WINE overdose.

Trouble singer Amy Winehouse has a reputation for hard drinking, which alot of us can relate too however, the wayward Winehouse, 23, was given an adrenaline shot and had her stomach pumped at London's University College Hospital on Tuesday. Ops!

She really did party hard after her MTV nomimation as she was admitted in the early hours of the morning.

The two time Ivor Novello Award winner, who has admitted using cocaine and marijuana, was visited by her husband Blake Fielder-Civil and her father before leaving the hospital via a back entrance on Tuesday evening.

This latest set back has meant that Winehouse has had to cancel yet another gig. Wrong move sweetie... She was due to perform at the Oya music festival in Oslo, Norway. Organisers were told at the last minute that she had pulled out, and they were given "no explanation".

A spokesman for Island Records said: "Amy Winehouse was admitted to UCLH this morning suffering from severe exhaustion." yeah right!

She quotes But I'm a perfectionist and would rather reschedule a show than do it half-heartedly," she said. ha ha ha

Not only does she look wrong, she is cant' even handle her drinks.

Kate Moss or Sienna Miller the Cat Fight Begins

Looks like Sienna Miller is tinking supermodel Kate Moss is just wrong! Way to kick a girl when she's down. Sienna insists and truth is i had heard that ages ago, that she started working on her clothing line way before Kate Moss joined up with TopShop. We gather Miller has had it in with Moss for a while now considering the fact that Kate is really good friends with Jude Law's ex-wife Sadie Frost. Errrrkkkkkkk Sienna with a lot of help from her sister Savannah will soon launch their clothing line which she has been sporting lately while doing the PR rounds in NYC. Watch out you don't it wrong like kate did or is doing.

Miller says, "Her clothing project was very different with ours. Obviously I would say this, but actually my sister and I started to work on ours before she did, two and a half years ago. "And also, unlike Kate Moss, Sav is a real stylist."Kate Moss had some really cool items for her line but we haven't seen Sienna's yet. Whose doing you think will have cooler clothes, Sienna's or Kate's?

Errrkkkkkkkkkkk Kate or Sienna???

Celebrity style - Get it Cheap

O.k o.k, something good, read on and see what i found. London High Street stores have landed in hot water for ripping off designer styles. But they're still the place to go for celebrity chic on the cheap:

Give Celebrities A Break...NOT! WRONG!

Celebrities have it rough. Top designers inundate them with free clothing. Jewelers drape them in dazzling diamonds. Stylists are at their disposal to hunt down the most arresting accessories. As a result, many truly dazzle us, leaving us lusting for their elegance, their class, their closets. The others? Well, they give us plenty to talk about around the water cooler. They can't even get it right when its handed to them on a gold platter. Post your favourite fashion disasters in the comment section.

Celebrities Wearing Fur. Vote for the worst dressed for 2007.

How WRONG is fur and even worse, celebrities wearing them. STOP THEM!!!!
Here a snippet of the “Worst-Dressed” fur-wearing celebrities in Hollywood. Nicole Richie, Ashley Olsen and Hollywood stars Christina Ricci and Eva Longoria were named and shamed as the top four in this year’s poll. PETA gives a scathing review of each candidates performance (yeah, like throwing tomotoes, mumm they are sometimes a bit wrong, but moving onto the point. Here are some of my our favorites:
Nicole Richie: “This pelt-wearing party girl is all animal skin and bones. She’s an incredible shrinking woman with the heart to match.’
Ashley Olsen: “Wearing fur does add 20 pounds, but if Ashley wants to fill out her frame, we suggest using a fork instead.”
Christina Ricci: “Disregarding the holiday season’s “Peace on Earth” message, Ricci recently posed for a magazine cover wearing fur from slaughtered reindeer. At least she’s not into fur hats: Imagine how many more pelts it would take to cover that forehead.”
Eva Longoria: “You’d think she’d be more sympathetic to the plight of rabbits considering the way she screws around like one on Wisteria Lane.”
Awesome. I don’t feel bad for one single person on the list. It’s a good thing Lohan came to her senses just recently. She was quickly approaching spotlight status on PETA’s radar. Last year’s shame, Paris Hilton, apparently has changed her fur-wearing ways telling reporters “that she’s had enough and is ditching her mink coats, fox collars, and chinchilla trim.” Good for you Paris; stick to hanging out with Lohan and Britney and leave those animals alone. Hit the comments to vote for you Worst-Dressed and tell me more victoms. COME ON, THIS IS TOTALLY WRONG!

Victoria Beckham's bra matches the carpet

Every since the has been singer decided to move to the United States, she has been trying to secure her position as a fashionista, but has been failing repeatedly.... This matching the carpet to your bra thing is just totally wrong. Some might think it's too drastic of an outfit, but personally, I think that if you're walking a bright pink carpet like this one, you get to show up in animal print and a highlighter-pink bra and feel safe doing so,what does she expect, everyone to follow??. Do any of you have a fluorescent bra? I don't!!!

Who will Brad end up with and Why?

Worst Dressed Celebrity!!

Scroll down or click here to comment!

Britney Spears and Paris Hilton - This newly formed fashion disaster duo is a friendship based on a mutual love for partying, miniskirts, blonde hair extensions and self-tanners. Im putting the in first-place. I mean for god's sake with all the that money how hard is it to look great when you have the all the power to be gorgeous and dress with style.

Camilla Parker-Bowles - I call her the "Duchess of Dull," and of all the famous people on this list you have to imagine that she's the one that cares the least that she's considered a worst-dressed.
Lindsay Lohan - OK, so maybe her red carpet choices aren't flawless, but you have to give her some credit for at least trying to dress grown-up on the red carpet (as opposed to posse members Britney and Paris, the perpetual teenyboppers.)

Christina Aguilera - Truth is, Christina's never really found a successful defining look; instead she seems to be channeling Donatella Versace's signature style with her long platinum-blond hair and garish makeup.

What about Mariah Carey - Mariah simply wears her clothes too tight (drat trying to cram into that double zero!) and pretty much always has. And she overdoes everything. So even when Mariah comes close to getting it right stylewise, she loses points for ill-fitting garments and frumpy 'dos. control alt delete!

Paula Abdul - Paula's look has always been all about the hair, but even that wasn't enough to keep me from calling her the "fallen fashion idol."

Then there's Sharon Stone - Just think: merely a decade ago Sharon created a fashion frenzy for mock-neck Gap T-shirts when she redefined dressing for the Oscars with her high-low mix. She's had many missteps since then and it didn't escape

Remember Tori Spelling - Poor little rich girl. Nobody every mistook her for a fashion icon, but now that she's barefoot, pregnant and hosting yard sales her style quotient takes a big hit

Sandra Oh - We saw this coming when Sandra dared to defile a perfect Vera Wang dress with Run DMC-style gold chains. Oh Sandra! No wonder whats with the "layered lunacy."

Meryl Streep - Maybe we wouldn't have realized just how Meryl's wardrobe was until we saw how absolutely smashing she could look when she appeared as a fashion editor in "The Devil Wears Prada."

These are a few of my and others opinions. What do you think? Comment and the best post will be credited on the launch of wrong-dot.com

Best dressed Celebrity 2007 Kate or Sienna??

Who do you think is now the best??? Kate Moss has been named the world's best dressed woman - just ahead of fashion rival Sienna Miller.
Sienna has been accused of copying Kate's style with her boho look.
But Kate, 31, retained her place at the top of Glamour magazine's annual best dressed list, while Sienna, 23, had to settle for second place.
"Kate gets it right every time. Her wardrobe is amazing," said celebrity hairdresser Nicky Clarke.
But GQ editor Dylan Jones said: "Sienna's not only the most glamorous woman in Britain, she's one of the sexiest too. Fantastically chic, fantastically sexy and fantastically cool."
Glamour magazine also named the five worst-dressed celebrities in the world as Jordan, Jodie Marsh, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.
Give us your vote to see who really is the best dressed celebrity in the world. If you think its someone else, comment and lets us know.

JLO fur and white platforms Wrong wrong wrong!!!!

We could never figure out why PETA types picked on poor JLO for promoting and wearing fur, not until now... why, she wears it badly as i say, its just wrong. Like this long fur vest layered inexplicably over a floaty print dress paired with clunky white sandals.
How to get it right Jologo Get rid of fur and white platforms,

Catwalk models get it wrong too

Gemma Gemma Geema, you should be embarrased. my god what is she doing. I can't even comment on this one. But if i were you, try the skirt, top or shoes by themselves as statements with other solid black or white pieces: each of them are strong enough to pop with simpler pairings.

Jessica Simpson's 2 pairs of tits look

A little cleavage is a good thing. But the 2 pairs of tits? Not such a good thing. Jessica Simpson takes on a close look-at-me pose in a dress that leaves her tits and more.
Easy to fix. Even with the security of double-sided tape to keep her in place that won't help, get a dress that fits.

sienna miller, what went wrong

Getty Image
Oh this makes me cry...sweetie, what wrong here our gorgeous Boho queen really got it wrong here. This odd mix of old tacky boots with those massive shorts and rediculous hat. shorts. Whats right here, lose the hat and boots; pair the baggy top and vest with skinny jeans.
How wrong is this??? What's missing besides dignity. Get it right, please, a visible pair of longer shorts, pants or skirt. If she's wanting the leggy look, get minidresses.
Cameron Diaz Apologizes For Fashion Faux Pas
Cameron Diaz apologized Sunday for carrying a bag with a political slogan that evoked painful memories in Peru.
The voice of Princess Fiona in the animated "Shrek" films visited the Incan city of Machu Picchu in Peru's Andes on Friday carrying an olive green bag emblazoned with a red star and the words "Serve the People" printed in Chinese, perhaps Chinese Communist leader Mao Zedong's most famous political slogan.
The bags are marketed as fashion accessories in some world capitals, but in Peru the slogan evokes memories of the Maoist Shining Path insurgency that fought the government in the 1980s and early 1990s in a bloody conflict that left nearly 70,000 people dead.
"I sincerely apologize to anyone I may have inadvertently offended. The bag was a purchase I made as a tourist in China and I did not realize the potentially hurtful nature of the slogan printed on it," Diaz said in a statement e-mailed to The Associated Press.
Cameron Diaz Talks 'Shrek The Third'

On Friday, one prominent Peruvian human rights activist said Diaz should have been a little more aware of local sensitivities when picking her accessories.
In Sunday's statement, the star of "There's Something About Mary" said the purpose of her visit was to participate in a television show that celebrates Peru's culture. The actress has been in Peru as part of "4 REAL," a Canadian TV production that focuses on young community leaders around the world.
"I'm sorry for any people's pain and suffering and it was certainly never my intention to reopen what I now know is a painful wound in this country's history," she said.
Diaz also spoke of Peruvians' beauty and warmth and said she wished "for their continued healing."

Oscars: Worst Dressed Celebrity coverage 2007
Academy Awards time again, just in time for high schoolers everywhere to feed their prom fantasies with the good and the bad of Hollywood glam. Though last night was filled with several high notes, there were a few sour chords throughout the evening.Top 5 Worst Dress Celebs at the Oscars (and where they made their mistakes):1. Kirsten Dunst: Chanel Haute Couture. The ice blue is too light for Dunst's pale skin and pale hair. She made the same color error at Cannes. The beading looks like a 50th anniversary dinner disaster without the aid of the belt, which for whatever reason Dunst decided against. Kristen, listen honey, you know I don't like you but do the right thing and stick with more vibrant colors in structural shapes. It'll give you the curves where you need 'em.2. Beyonce: Giorgio Armani Prive. Beyonce has decided that we're all dumb and blind. Let's call it projection but who am I to act the psychiatrist? Honestly honey, we all know you have an amazing bod, do you always have to put it out there and in such a way that projects your taste deficit to the world? Cover up. You're curvy, so if you must show your shape to avoid looking chubby, leave the leg slit a little less revealing.3. Faye Dunaway: J. Mendel. When something doesn't look good on the runway, chances are it's not going to look good on a middle-aged body. Just a thought. Leave experimental shapes to actresses in their 20's so we can all just snicker and say, "She's stupid but at least she's young." By Dunaway's age you should know what looks good on you and stick with it.4. Eva Green: Givenchy. I used to have a dress like this. Back when I accidentally washed something nice with an old tea bag and then used it for a wash cloth. Don't try to dumb couture looks down for the red carpet. This dress had nice draping in the original show but by Oscar time it looks like it was fit on a potato sack instead of a model. The goth hair doesn't help the bandage-wrapped look either.5. Keisha Whitaker: Georges Chakra. From the front this look was a buttery stunner. From the back it was a human gingerbread house. This is like the Nicole Kidman's famous green dress and Halle Berry's flowered see-thru number got together and had a bastard child. I couldn't find this look on the runway so I picked another dress from the designer which looks Oscar worthy.Honorary Mention: Meryl Streep in Prada. If the movie that you were in is going to dictate the dress, don't let this happen to you. Streep appeared on the red carpet in what looked like a black taffeta bathrobe with a cinnabar necklace similar to the ones you can pocket at your local hippie digs shop.
